As the title suggests, the Festival's ever popular Jazz & Jeans Series offers a relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy some of the jazz world's finest performers. In keeping with its unique style of programming, the Festival offers an eclectic mix of styles from the tradition of Oscar Peterson as seen through the magical performance of the Oliver Jones Trio, to the sultry blues of Florence K, to a celebration of the clarinet king Benny Goodman's 100th anniversary, to America's favourite father of jazz, George Gershwin.
