Tuesday May 20^th Direct from Prague the fabulous Czech group The Janacek Trio gives their Montreal premiere at the Festival. Helena Jiríkovska, Concertmaster of the Talich Chamber Orchestra, Marek Novak, cellist of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, and pianist Marketa Janackova are among the vanguard of brilliant Czech performers that make up this dazzling trio.

Opening the evening will be violinist Rachel Barton Pine and violist Marcus Thompson performing Three Madrigals by Bohuslav Martinu.
